SRK starrer Raees is continuing with its good show in the second week after having completed its first major milestone i.e. 100 crore at the box-office on Monday. The net box-office collection of Raees is currently 122.36 crore.
So, the day wise break-up of Raees' earning at the box-office for the first 7 days is as follows:
On Day 1 i.e. Wednesday, Raees did a business of 20.42 crore. One Day 2 i.e. Thursday, being national holiday, the business showed a great improvement, raking in a total 26.30 crore. Day 3 i.e. Friday, being a working day, the collection dipped to 13.11 crore. On Day 4 i.e. Saturday, Raees did a business 15.61 crore, crossing the 75 crore mark in the process. On Day 5 i.e. Sunday, Raees did a business of 15.05 crore. On Day 6 i.e. Monday, Raees raked in 8.25 crore and another 7.52 crore on Tuesday.
The nine-day worldwide collection of Raees is standing at 245.56 crore.
Raees would have certainly enjoyed a more smoother run at the box-office had it not for the tough competition posed by the Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil. In the second week, Kaabil has gained 200 plus screens and so the competition is going to get tougher. The nine-day worldwide collection of Kaabil is standing at 150 crore. The figure at the Indian box-office stands at Rs 90.63 crore.
It remains to be seen if Raees would succeed in crossing the 150 crore mark at the end of the week.

Kabil is not eligible for this collection. Other than awesome performance of Hrithik Roshan, nothing in this film. Not a good story, not unforgettable moments or just like a tele serial.
