A Potpourri of Vestiges Feature
The New Year celebrations have barely come to an end and we have another big reason to celebrate. And, believe me, it is really big. It is so big that it has already rocked the entire film industry. The social media too is going berserk.
Two of the biggest superstars in Bollywood have joined hands with the most bankable producer/directer in the industry. Yes, you heard it right. Akshay "Rustom" Kumar is set to star in a movie co-produced by Salman "Sultan" Khan and Karan Johar. The movie, to be directed by Anurag Singh, is set to release in 2018.
The news was broken on Twitter by Akshay himself and it was soon vetted by both Salman and Johar. Here is what the tweets read:
Salman hasn't collaborated with Johar since the latter's debut venture, the SRK starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which featured a special appearance from Khan. Khan has previously worked with Akshay in films like Jaan-e-Man and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
While Salman Khan's Tubelight is lined up for later this year, Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2 is set to release on 10 February, 2017.
This coming together of Salman, Akshay and Karan can prove to be a major game changer for Bollywood. Can be the beginning of the start of a new order in Bollywood? Well, time will tell that better!
