Watch the Swimming Pool Sequence from Passengers

A Potpourri of Vestiges Feature

Swimming Pool, Passengers, Gravity Loss, Jennifer Lawrence

These days everyone seems to be talking about the gravity loss sequence from the film Passengers. Jennifer Lawrence has already described it as the toughest thing she has ever shot in her acting career.

The sequence is also getting attention because of Jennifer Lawrence's hour glass figure. Lawrence seems to have worked really hard on her physique and it shows. She certainly looks a sight to behold.

Coming back to the sequence, it is basically built on the idea of gravity loss triggered by a mechanical failure. Aurora, the character player by Jennifer Lawrence, is swimming in a pool inside a spacecraft when suddenly a technical malfunction leads to loss of gravity. As the water in the pool begins to rise up, Aurora gets caught in the water bubble under the zero gravity condition leading to imminent suffocation.

For the uninitiated, Passengers revolves around two passengers on a space voyage to another planet in the hope of a new life. Passengers stars Chris Pratt alongside Lawrence, marking their first outing together.

Passengers also stars Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne, and Andy Garcia.

Passengers is directed by Morten Tyldum who previous projects include The Imitation Game (2011) and Headhunters (2014). It is based on a screenplay by Jon Spaihts.

Passengers is set to release in India on 6 January 2017. It has already released in the US on 21 December, 2016.
