New Delhi, Pune and Kolkata are all set to witness a selection of 11 short films, 4 documentaries and 5 feature films from five of the most interesting film festivals of Europe:

Berlinale (Germany)
Festival du film d’amour de Mons (Belgium)
Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival (Portugal)
Festival del film Locarno (Switzerland)
Rome Independent Film Festival (Italy)

as per the following schedule:

New Delhi: Thursday, 29th September 2016 – Saturday, 1st October 2016; Bikaner House, Pandara Road

Pune: Thursday, 29th September 2016 – Sunday, 2nd October 2016; National Film Archives of India, Law College Road

Kolkata: Friday, 30th September 2016 – Sunday, 2nd October 2016; Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, E.M. Bypass Road

Three well-known international film personalities from Belgium, Italy and Switzerland will be present and will be interacting with the audience, conducting master classes and workshops:

André Ceuterick, Executive Director of the ‘Festival du Film d’Amour de Mons’, Belgium
Simone Mariani, Director of the Documentary “A journey on the tabla”
Sanjay Kansa Banik, the protagonist of the aforesaid film, Italy
Lionel Baier, Director of “La Vanité”, Switzerland

The Indian table player Sanjay Kansa Banik – now living in Italy – will be performing live in Delhi on 29th September at 7:30 pm, in Pune on 30th September at 7:50 pm and in Kolkata on 2 nd October at 4:30 pm.

30th September 2:00 pm: workshop on acting by Simone Mariani
30th September 7:00 pm: tabla performance by Sanjay Kansa Banik
2nd October 2:00 pm: workshop on film making with Lionel Baier
2nd October 4:30 pm: Closing film of the festival “La vanité” followed by a conversation with its director Lionel Baier

Kolkata

30th September 2:30 pm: masterclass by Lionel Baier
30th September 6:45 pm: conversation with Lionel Baier
1st October 1:00 pm: masterclass by André Ceuterick
2nd October 2:30 pm: masterclass by Simone Mariani
2nd October 4:30 pm: tabla concert by Sanjay Kansa Banik
2nd October 6:15 pm: conversation with Simone Mariani and Sanjay Kansa Banik
