IIMM Delhi celebrates the success of the collaborative short film 'The Bench' undertaken by the institution's students

A Potpourri of Vestiges Feature



International Institute of Mass Media (IIMM Delhi) on 17th December 2019 celebrated the winning of its short-film The Bench. The Bench was awarded the Best Story in the Hindi Cinema category at the Indogma Film Festival 2019. The celebration was attended by Mr Chandan Mehta, Festival Director, IFF 2019, Mr Subhash Raj, Director, IIMM Delhi, Mr Murtaza Ali, Film Critic, senior faculty members and students of the mass communication institute. Members of the Institute’s film club Cinemates were also present in the event.

The Bench is a collaborative short-film project which was undertaken by the students of IIMM Delhi under the guidance of their Film Production and Direction faculty Mr Parvez Khan. The short-film highlights the issue of elderly abandonment which is on the rise in the India. The short-film will be screened by the Institute soon.
