BuddyBits today unveiled the trailer of its first show titled ‘Starting Troubles’. The show is the nation’s first medical humor drama created by doctors and is all set to launch on the 15th of January, exclusively on BuddyBits. The 6-episode series revolves around a person whose heart lies in the world of acting but  ends up becoming a doctor. The show features the brilliant and versatile actress Renuka Shahane in lead along with Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi who plays himself in the show. For the uninitiated, ‘Starting Troubles’ is based on Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi’s best-selling autobiography – Inventing Medical Devices.

Starting Troubles is a story that ignites the spirit of innovation & entrepreneurship while maintaining a balance between work & passion. The 6-episode series is written by Dr. Shweta Malik & Abhinav Kamal and directed by Abhinav Kamal. The show revolves around the struggles of a doctor who is trying to strike a balance between his medical career and his passion for acting. The comical sequence of events and the troubles which start as soon as Dr. Jagdish seeks to attain this balance further shapes the story of ‘Starting Troubles’.

The trailer of the show opens a creek into a world of laugh riot. The trailer sets the premise for the title of this series as it captures the brilliant comedy of errors which take place when Dr.Jagdish tries to live a double life – one as a doctor and other as an actor/stand-up comedian, thereby ‘Starting Troubles’ for himself and everyone around him.

Commenting on the trailer launch of Starting Troubles, lead actress Renuka Shahane said, "Starting Troubles is the kind of show which I wanted to work in since the concept of this show is in the league of shows which are made abroad. Another reason I said yes to the show is that this show is created entirely by doctors, so it is as real as it can be. I am eagerly looking forward to the show's launch on 15th January."
