A Vote of Thanks: Successful completion of Best of the Best Blogathon

A Potpourri of Vestiges Feature

A Potpourri of Vestiges successfully hosted its first ever blogathon, Best of the Best Blogathon from the 21st of December 2012 to the 20th of January 2013. The sole purpose of the blogathon was to celebrate the spirit of cinema and we did succeed in our endeavor to a great extent. The overall response was quite overwhelming, especially considering the relatively short duration of the blogathon. During the one-month period that the blogathon ran, A Potpourri of Vestiges reached yet another important milestone: the 300K counter (based on the all time hits)... the sole credit for which goes to our avid readers.

Here, I would like to make a special mention of all those bloggers (from all across the globe) whose whole-hearted participation made the blogathon a success. I thank the following bloggers (arranged in the order of the number of contributions made by them) from the bottom of my heart:

1). "The Whitescape" of One head many hats...One life many stories [5 Articles]

2). Arun Kumar of Passion of Movies [3 Articles]

3). Ratnakar Sadasyula of Seetimar-Diary of a Movie Lover [2 Articles]

4). "Eternality" of Eternality@Filmnomenon [1 Article]

5). Mahesh Iyer of meshforyou [1 Article]

6). Kerin Gedge of Kerinthian's [1 Article]

7). Payoj Gupta of Random Musings II [1 Article]

8). David Opie of Be Careful! Your Hand [1 Article]

9). Akshy of Akshy's Multiplex [1 Article]

10). Brad Dugg of Bradz Blog [1 Article]

11). Letícia Magalhães Pereira of Critica Retro [1 Article]

Note: The complete list of blogathon entries can be found here

Finally, I would like to thank all those bloggers who for some reason or the other couldn't participate in the blogathon in an active manner but none the less passively contributed to the blogathon's success in one way or the other.

The overwhelming response that we received for the blogathon has encouraged us to host similar events in the days to come. So stay tuned... and happy movie viewing!

  1. Congratulations for your successful blogathon! Too bad I didn't contribute my article although you have invited, because I'm kinda short of ideas. Haha. I'm gonna wait for your next blogathon round. :)
