Film Critic Murtaza Ali Khan and Martí Bassets Claret, Cultural Manager, Instituto Cervantes inaugurate New Ibero-American Film Festival

Martí Bassets Claret, Cultural Manager, Instituto Cervantes and Film Critic Murtaza Ali Khan at the inauguration of the New Ibero-American Film Festival, at India Habitat Centre.

The festival is a window to stories that come from overseas, but they elaborate discourses and questions that are so universal that, as viewers, we cannot stop thinking about them from our own culture and our own identity.

The event, which will see the screening of four films, is an endeavour to celebrate the diversity and forcefulness of cinema made on the Ibero-American continent. The production in Spanish in this extensive region has a resounding reach in international festivals and fills experimental cinemas around the world.
